Zone Elite™ (ZE) at Seminole with coach Dave Morgen
Saturdays beginning July 11, 2009 from 10:00-11:30am
Cost: $25.00/class with valid City of Seminole Recreation Card
Where: 9100 113th St. N., Seminole
Registration: Pre-registration required (stop by Rec Center)

Zone Elite for Girls™ (ZEFG) with coach Darien Dublin
Saturdays beginning August 8, 2009 from 1:00-2:30pm
Cost: $25.00/class (no rec card required)
Where: The Long Center, 1501 N. Belcher Road, Clearwater

Our new program schedule this fall and winter features beginner through advanced classes for boys and girls age 5-17 in Clearwater, Largo, Safety Harbor, Seminole, St. Pete Beach, Tarpon Springs and coming soon to New Tampa.

CELTICS WIN LARGO ITZ SPRING LEAGUE FINAL
The Celtics (9-1) finished their great season in Largo last Saturday, defeating the Lakers (7-3) for the third time this spring 38-32, becoming 2009 League Champions. A large playoff crowd witnessed exciting games that began with the Cavaliers defeating the Rockets 31-28. The Cavs then played the number one seeded Celtics, with the Celtics winning the game 47-36. In a battle of the two other top seeds, the Lakers and Magic played in a thrilling double overtime contest, where the number two seeded Lakers survived 47-40.
Congratulations to the 2009 Largo ITZ Spring Basketball League Champions Celtics for a fantastic season, and to all the boys and girls who participated in our most exciting league program to date! Thank you coaches-we really appreciate you!!
Registration for the 2009 Largo Fall Basketball League begins this Saturday, June 20, 2009 at any City of Largo recreation facility, including Highland Recreation Center. Games will be played at the newly renovated City of Largo Southwest Recreation Center, located at 13120 Vonn Road. Three (3) coed divisions are planned for boys and girls age 9-16. Fees for the league are $55.00 with a Largo Resident Card and $68.75 with a Non-resident Card. Volunteer coaching opportunities are available and encouraged, with professional training available as needed. Please ask for details.
